curious to know why with 9 other teams (including elite div), we play a team twice? it appears to be like that with all teams in div 2

Elite and Div 2 were split into two pools with one of the elite teams in each pool. You play each team once in your division, and one team 2x to give you five games, The elite teams cross over and play each other 1x.

Fourth sees the top 6 make the playoffs also.
Everyone else except Elite and Woman are top 4
